Widely recognized for his knowledge of employee benefits, estate planning, tax law and business issues, Lawrence M. Ploucha counsels clients in a wide range of financial-related matters. An “AV”-rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, Ploucha has more than 30 years of experience working with shareholders, professional firms, closely held businesses, individuals and families.
Ploucha provides guidance to clients in all phases of a business endeavor, from the structuring of new entities and preparation of business agreements, to tax planning and purchase and sale transactions. His understanding of employee benefits, taxes and estate planning allows him to develop effective, integrated planning strategies for executives and professionals, such as attorneys, accountants, physicians and dentists.
A native of Michigan, Ploucha graduated cum laude from Western Michigan University with a bachelor of science degree in 1972. He earned his juris doctorate cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1978, and a master of laws in taxation from the University of Miami School of Law in 1980.
